From a Spartans Indoor Percussion Press Release:
Can’t survive, with the secrets we have…
The 2023 Spartans Indoor Percussion ensemble presents their program, Tremor. Everyday our lives are impacted by small events that can have a significant impact. From our least memorable interactions, to the most significant relationships we share, every event forges us into the people that we ultimately become. Utilizing “Tremors” by English artist Sohn, SIP will explore the physical and emotional impact of the forces that constantly move us.
Competing in the Percussion Independent Open class, Spartans Indoor Percussion will be performing in the NESBA circuit around greater New England, as well as the Trumbull Regional on February 25th, Monroe Township Regional on March 18th, and the WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.
Spartans Indoor Percussion is under the direction of Andy Kim and Anthony Montesion. The design team includes Matt McGuire, Adam St. Jean, Bryson Teel and Andy Kim, with costume, floor and drum wrap designs created by Ivan Fees. The administrative staff includes Anthony Montesion, Leah Dunbar and Molly Whitmore. Instructional staff includes Ryan Enos, Joe Weber, Jabari Tovar, Sam Bodo, Nate Kim, Cam McHugh, Cullen Ryan, Dillon Pinard, Devan DaCunha and Allan Edwards.
