Once your group has registered for an event, WGI requires that groups complete a series of requirements in order to compete. More specific information on each requirement can be found by clicking the links below.

Following are the Event Requirements and their Deadline Dates:
Staff Must Complete Prior to Working with Performers:
- SafeSport Training or SafeSport Refresher Course
- Background Checks (good for two years)
Due 60 Days After Event Registration (the date you registered for the event) or by the Entry Deadline Date (5 weeks before the event) Whichever Comes First:
- Event Registration Fees Paid (Payment Form)
- Master Agreement (Note: For Combined Schools, it must be uploaded by the Entry Deadline Date)
- Insurance Certificate (Independent Groups Only)
- Staff Listing (on Director’s Dashboard)
(NOTE* Bear in mind with last minute registrations that all requirement due dates are still valid)
Due by Entry Deadline Date (5 weeks before the event):
- Performer Release Forms
- Copyright Requirements
- Spiel Sheet (on CompetitionSuite *now includes Emergency Cell Phone – Day of Event Only )
