The WGI Winds Division is entering its 10th year of existence in 2025, and we are proud of the continued growth it has experienced over the past decade.
At the 2014 World Championships, Aimachi Winds, Alter High School, and Northglenn High School exhibited the first-ever WGI Winds groups. This laid the foundation for a new competitive division focused on reinforcing music education and reimagining visual performance.
Winds programs today continue to push the boundaries of the division, producing the highest caliber of designers and performers alike. Take a look below at some of our ongoing initiatives to foster growth and excellence in WGI’s newest division!
