WGI requires that registered groups complete a series of requirements in order to compete. Specific information on each requirement can be found at the links below.

Prior to working with performers, each staff member must complete:
- WGI-specific participant protection training (Details coming soon)
- Background Check (good for two years)
Due 60 Days after registration OR by the entry deadline date (whichever comes first):
- Master Agreement (Note: For Combined Schools, it must be uploaded by the entry deadline date)
- Staff List (on Director’s Dashboard)
- Insurance Certificate (Independent Groups Only)
Due by entry deadline date (6 weeks before the event):
- Performer Release Forms
- Copyright Requirements
- Spiel Sheet Information (on CompetitionSuite)
Due by January 1, 2025:
