WGI is saddened to hear of Mary Lynn Dorow’s passing. She was a bright light and a beacon of positivity for all those around her. As a member of the Miller family and a crucial piece of Fred J. Miller Inc., she made a significant impact on generations of instructors, designers, and performers within WGI.

2024 WGI Board of Directors Announces Advisory Board Travel Grant

The WGI Board of Directors recently approved funds for an advisory board travel grant to foster growth and encourage new perspectives in the activity. This tuition will cover the expenses of up to three individuals who do not competitively qualify for the Advisory Board, allowing them to participate in the annual Advisory Board meeting this upcoming June.

WGI Sport of the Arts will hold its Advisory Board meetings on June 7-8, 2024, at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada. This annual meeting gives representatives opportunities to discuss and vote on the rules and policies governing WGI.

WGI’s Inclusive Costuming Resource List!

In 2021, the WGI Future Leaders Program (FLP), in conjunction with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, published the “Inclusive Costuming Resources”—a running catalog of costuming and design companies that provide diverse skin-tone garments for members of color.
