We are excited to share we have an opening for Director of Percussion to join a 5-director team at LISD (4A). Details in a nutshell:

-full schedule of percussion classes at high school and middle school

-all classes are team taught

-option to lead a sub-NV band at HS or MS, if desired

-indoor percussion ensemble participates at TCGC, wanting to push into WGI

-marching band is an open class UIL state competitor

-4/5 concert ensembles received Sweepstakes at UIL Concert and Sight Reading this year

-marching band fields around 150 yearly; HS program consists of 165 total students; MS program consists of around 300 students, with 168 beginners to start 6th grade this fall.

We are specifically looking for educators with DCI and WGI experience. A Texas teaching certification (or a current cert from a state with reciprocity) is required.
