2025 Winds A Class Finalist Review

Congratulations to all of our 2025 Winds A finalists! Review their productions below in order of Finals placement.

Scholastic A

1st - Edinburg HS (94.618)

Edinburg HS performed a stunning and graceful show. Their program Uncharted featured a beautiful parchment paper tarp and a large compass that set the scene for an unforgettable show. The members played and moved with an elegance that was utterly breathtaking.

2nd - Damien HS (91.919)

Damien HS left the audience absolutely stunned when their brass players started simultaneously driving go-carts and playing their instruments. Their 2025 program Drive was quite an impressive show!

3rd - Mt. Juliet HS (90.865)

Mt. Juliet was shining in silver and gold on the floor with their 2025 program The Guardians. Hearing incredible arrangements of Live And Let Die throughout their show ensured these knights would be remembered as more than just relics from the past. 

4th - Newnan HS (89.283)

Newnan HS had a powerful performance with their program The Battle Of Britain. Their show featured historical radio voiceovers and tall silver blimps. The group utilized their trombones to make sound effects that brought the audience into the narrative. 

5th - Warren Central HS (IN) (88.663)

Warren Central HS (IN) looked stunning in their red and gold regal coats, they had a familiar musical repertoire that transported the audience to Camelot. Their 2025 program A Seat At The Table was powerful and an incredible retelling of the classic tale. 

Independent A

1st - Ethereal WInds (92.363)

These performers were shining just as bright as their iridescent props and gorgeous uniforms. Ethereal Winds’ 2025 program entitled Clarity was performed with excitement and grace that was musically and visually captivating. 

2Nd - Obsidian WInds (90.715)

Obsidian Winds had a mesmerizing performance with their show Sacred Geometry. The symmetrical drill formations and triangular props were the perfect touch to their outstanding musicianship. 

3rd - LSM West (87.508)

LSM’s program The Oregon Trail invited the audience to join these pioneers. The performers showcased their ability to play a variety of styles and tempos of music to embody the journey of The Oregon Trail.

4th - Cyclone Winds (85.165)

The performers of Cyclone Winds were jacks of all trades. The performers not only played their wind instruments but played tambourines and cabasas as well as danced an ensemble dance feature. Their program Symphony For The Rapscallion was unique and unforgettable. 

5th - Forest Hills (84.115)

Forest Hills’ 2025 program All You Need Is Love began with the performers in a heart-shaped drill set and featured several songs from The Beatles that showed the audience that “love is all you need”! In a heartwarming moment, the show concludes with two performers sharing a hug.
