2025 PIA Class Finalist Review

Congratulations to all of our 2025 Independent A class finalists! View a recap of their productions below in order of Finals placement.

1st - m3 (93.900)

M3 brought the audience on a journey of self-discovery with their 2025 program “Who I am.” With selections like Iris by the GooGoo Dolls, M3 delivers an incredibly raw performance that brought UD to its feet.

2nd - Nomad Indoor (92.650)

Nomad Indoor takes us right into the eye of the storm in their intense 2025 program “Inside your Storm.”

3rd - Lake effect Percussion (89.500)

Lake Effect brings the energy in their 2025 program “From Studio to Spotlight.” Taking the audience on a journey from practice to the show floor, Lake Effect brought the house down.

4th - North Star Independent (88.875)

In their 2025 program “In the Blink of an Eye” North Star Independent plays with ideas of memories that have come and gone, and how a whole life can be captured through photographs.

5th - Kannapolis Independent (88.450)

Kannapolis Independent summons spirits in the graveyard with their 2025 program, “Spirit Game”

6th - Lakeville Area Percussion (86.025)

Lakeville Area Percussion brings the heat and prepares quite the percussive feast in their adorable 2025 program “Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat.” Full of great humor, Lakeville puts together a crowd-pleasing show.

7th - Vortex Percussion (84.225)

Vortex Percussion puts up the revolutionary fist and calls for anarchy in their radical 2025 production “Get Up, Stand Up.”

8th - Rochester Lourdes Drumline (83.925)

The Rochester Lourdes are adorned with masks and bat wings. The Rochester Lourdes makes you scared of the dark, even in the bright UD lights.

9th - Legacy Percussion (81.925)

Legacy Percussion finds color in the music with their 2025 program “Synesthesia: The World as I see it.”

10th - Breakwater Performing Arts (80.525)

Breakwater Performing Arts gets nefarious with their 2025 program “I Did Something Bad.” Alluding to Harley Quinn and The Joker, Breakwater puts some villainous vibes on the floor.
