2025 PIO Class Finalist Review

Congratulations to all of our 2025 Independent Open class finalists! Review their productions below in order of Finals placement.

1st - Veritas (97.850)

Veritas pulls up a chair and learns to heal in their gorgeous 2025 production “Sit With It”.

2nd - Civitas Independent (96.775)

Civitas brings it all back home with their beautiful and nostalgic 2025 production “If These Walls Could Talk”

3rd - UTSA (95.188)

UTSA brings an art museum to UD with their delicate and visual 2025 program “Erase Me”

4th - Freedom Percussion (95.050)

Freedom Percussion brings exceptional musicality to the floor with their ethereal 2025 production “A Work of Art”

5th - Spectre Percussion (94.925)

Spectre Percussion explores the fleeting memories that make the physical and spiritual idea of home special in their rousing 2025 production “These Walls.”

6th - Cap City 2 (94.825)

Cap City 2 pares it all back for their gorgeously minimalist 2025 program “Is less more?”

7th - OCI (94.700)

OCI climbed all the way to the top and did it in style with their incredible 2025 program “Started from the Bottom”

8th - q2 (93.813)

Q2 crosses the finish line with their 2025 production “Run.” They learn that running away from your problems isn’t always the best solution, and facing them head-on is the only way to truly move forward.

9th - United percussion 2 (91.413)

United Percussion 2 leaves their mark on the world and takes their place among legends in their exuberant 2025 production “Monumental”

10th - Paradigm Percussion (91.163)

Paradigm Percussion brought UD to its feet for some cardio and got a good pump in along the way with their hilariously creative 2025 production “Drums in a Gym.”

11th - River City Rhythm (88.638)

River City Rhythm takes their vulture-like eyes to the finals floor for their dark and incredibly moody, Edgar Allan Poe-inspired 2025 production “The Tell-Tale Heart.”
