Melissa High School spent their 2025 program, “Someday You’ll Understand,” showing the audience that some things take time to fully grasp. Using strong emotions and great technique, performers move as one unit, while a featured performer shows the struggle of waiting for others to understand. Six props that are spread out across the floor are slowly turned around throughout the performance to emphasize the change that comes with time and that “Someday You’ll Understand,” but you have to hope that realization doesn’t come too late.

4th - Clovis North HS Varsity (94.155)

Two athletes link hands in the middle of multiple small circular props spread across Clovis North High School Varsity’s floor to symbolize the title of their show, “Connect.” These same props are used again to allow a sabre line to spin two sabres at once, eventually handing their second sabre off to another line. As soon as their music began, John C. Birdlebough High School had the audience in the palm of their hands, listening to them clap and cheer the team on in their 2025 show, “Dear Priscilla.” Halfway through their performance, athletes turn around five prop letters to reveal a name: Elvis. 7th - Jordan Hs (92.055)

A power line spreads across Jordan High School’s floor as the team tells the tale of wanting to call a phone “Operator” and tell them to send a message of your feelings to someone, even though you know you shouldn’t. The team opens their show on a unique silk, this one tied to a rope instead of a flag pole. Amazing audience members throughout their whole show, the athletes end with an incredible flag feature that moves across their floor and further proves how talented this set of performers truly are.

8th - Dripping Springs HS (90.670)

Using pieces of purple and red fabrics to tie around themselves and to link to each other, Dripping Springs High School pulled the crowd into their 2025 program, “Threaded Together.” With no lyrics in their music, the performers brought this show to life by solely their emotion and use of synced equipment, proving that they are all “Threaded Together.”

Exhaling deeply while taking on their opening movement piece, Kennesaw Mountain High School athletes begin to tell the story of fighting through the hard times of a relationship in their show, “For Better Or For Worse.” Performers use three sets of tables and chairs, along with a journal, to further show the stages of a bond changing and having to work to save it. Franklin High School really showed us what happens “When Love Arrives.”

Yukon High School’s final lap in the 2025 season was definitely a strong one.
