WGI World Championships is right around the corner, and it’s essential to make the necessary preparations for a successful weekend on and off the floor!

Below, you will find the most updated information for all championship events, including UD Arena Procedures and COVID policies for all show sites.

2022 UD Arena

NOTE: Please allow extra time to enter Percussion WORLD CLASS FINALS on Saturday night! 
 
FOR OPEN AND WORLD CLASS FINALS there is a THREE STEP PROCESS TO ENTER 
 
  • Tickets will be scanned. 
  • A wristband will be affixed to your wrist. This wristband will allow for in-out access. 
  • Proceed through a metal detector or be screened with a hand-held metal detector.
 
TO AVOID LONG LINES: We encourage you to scan your Percussion WORLD CLASS FINALS ticket any time after 2:30 Saturday at the small white tents on the north and south entrances at the UD Arena to get the appropriate wristband before the crowd. You will still want to have your ticket with you as proof of which seat is yours.
 

UD ARENA IS NOW CASHLESS – Box Office, the UD team store, and concession stands are now 100% cashless. They will accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

METAL DETECTORS – All persons will walk through a metal detector or be screened for prohibited items with a hand-held metal detector any time they enter or re-enter the building. Please allow extra time for your arrival to the arena to account for this process.

NO COLOR GUARD EQUIPMENT will be allowed in the main spectator arena entrances. Equipment may only enter the building through the warm-up/guard check-in entrance and the designated performance entrance at the top of the tunnel.

ALL BAGS ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH – We ask you to please limit the number of bags/purses/small backpacks brought into the arena. Personal bags may be allowed after a thorough inspection. Bags and backpacks larger than 16x16x8 are not permitted, with the exception of diaper bags and medical equipment, which are subject to inspection at any time. Flag bags/ equipment bags/ cymbal bags are not permitted in the spectator entrances.

PROHIBITED ITEMS – Including, but not limited to firearms, weapons of any kind, outside food and drink, strollers, signs larger than 8.5 x 11, tripods, balloons, animals (with the exception of service animals), camera lenses longer than eight (8) inches, laser pointers, and noisemakers.

MASK OPTIONALCurently, all venues have a Mask-Optional policy. Therefore, masks are not required while inside the arenas, expo tent, during warm-up, or performancesWe will continually assess the ever-changing landscape of the pandemic and adjust our health and safety protocols according to the recommendations of local health and government officials.
