The Shawnee High School Pride of the Pack in Shawnee, OK is seeking experienced candidates for Color Guard Coordinator for the 2023-2024 school year. The guard coordinator will be responsible for instruction during all rehearsals and organize all aspects of the guard program including:
Fundamentals of equipment and dance
Choreography for fall and winter productions
Costume and Flag design (in collaboration with band staff)
Communication with staff, students, and parents
The program is a 5A competitve program and currently has 18 members that competes in Fall Marching Band and Winterguard competitions
Certified teachers will be paid as an extra duty stipend. A non-certified teacher will be paid as an adjunct coach.
