The Olentangy High School Marching Band is currently accepting resumes and contacts for the
position of Color Guard Instructor for the 2023 fall marching season. Interested candidates

Position Reports to: Director of Bands
Duties/Responsibilities:
Attends band camp (July 17-21 and July 24-28)
Attends competitions and football games
Attends rehearsals during the marching season
Leads color guard sectional rehearsals
Teaches/cleans drill, dance, and equipment.
Skills/Experience: Individual should possess strong skills in teaching, marching, visual
choreography and performance. Collegiate, DCI and WGI experience is a plus but is not
required.
The OHS Marching Band competes in MSBA (A) and OMEA (4A) circuits.
Availability: Late July through Early November. Possible clinics throughout the year. Open to winterguard.
