Color Guard Director – Cypress Woods HS

The Cypress Woods High School Band program in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD has an opening for the position of Color Guard Director.

Position Information

• Teaching-focused position
• Salary
  Part-time (Guard Only): $30K-$35K w/benefits; based on experience
  Full-time (Guard and other subject area*): Starting salary is $60,500 w/benefits and additional stipend (*this opportunity would require a teaching certificate in a subject area where there is a vacancy)
• Start date would be mid-late July
• There are two guard classes – Varsity and JV; current around 40 students in the guard program and looking to grow

Qualifications

DCI/WGI performer experience
Teaching experience is preferable
Dance/choreography background is ideal
Team player and student-centered
