Website Baylor University

The Baylor University Golden Wave Band is seeking a creative and energetic Color Guard Instructor to build an elite program for the 2023-2024 season. There was no Color Guard section in the 2022 season.

For over 120 years, the Baylor University Golden Wave Band has been an integral part of the spirit of Baylor University with its powerful music, creative marching drill, and color guard choreography. Both on the field and in the stands, the members of the band create an atmosphere of excitement through outstanding musical performance and a relentless spirit for Baylor football.

We hope you will consider adding your talents to one of the most exciting college marching bands in the nation. DCI/WGI experience is preferred but not required for consideration. Previous experience as a member of a high-level collegiate color guard is considered extremely advantageous.

The band and Color Guar rehearse on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. We perform 5-6 unique, high-energy shows per season at all home and select away games. Postseason travel is likely and presents additional performance opportunities.
