Color Guard Instructor

The Alexandria City HS Marching Titans are currently accepting resumes and contacts for the position of color guard instructor for the 2022 fall marching season.  Interested candidates should contact Timothy Grant, Director of Bands, at timothy.grant@acps.k12.va.us.

Position Reports to: Director of Bands

Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Attends band camp (August)

·         Attend competitions and home football games

·         Attends rehearsals during the marching season

·         Leads color guard sectional rehearsals

·         Teaches/cleans drill and visual routine

Skills/Experience: Individual should possess strong skills in teaching, marching, visual choreography and performance.

Availability: Late-July through Early-November

Pay: Competitive/ Based upon experience
