WGI is looking for Social Media Crew, Video Highlight Crew, and Photographers to help us provide media coverage at this season’s regional events!
These are a great way to help you gain valuable video and communications/social media marketing experience. Crew members must have their own equipment to gather coverage of the wekeend’s events.

Social Media Crew
Details: Social Media Crew volunteers will help us get the word out about our regional events across WGI’s social media channels in real time. As a part of the WGI Social Media Crew, you will work from your mobile phone or tablet, capturing events and creating posts during the event on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Snapchat.
Requirements: STRONG attention to spelling/punctuation/grammar. Must be proficient in the social media platforms listed above. Applicants pursuing a degree in public relations, marketing, or communications are preferred but not required.
Additional Requirements: Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply and currently not performing with a group this season. All WGI staff and Social Media Crew members must complete a free background check. More information will be provided upon event assignment.

Video Highlight Crew
Details: Video Highlight Crew volunteers will get the experience of capturing up close and personal footage of the exciting WGI activity. Crew members will shoot footage from regional competitions and edit a short montage featuring the highlights from the WGI regional.
Requirements: Applicants must have video shooting/editing experience and access to HD recording equipment, and, most importantly, a passion for the performing arts.
Additional Requirements: Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply. All WGI staff and Video Highlight Crew members must complete a free background check. More information will be provided upon event assignment.

Photographer
Details: Photographers will capture action shots of competing groups and performers at regional WGI events. WGI will promote your photography website and sales of the images you capture.
Requirements: Applicants must have professional photography experience, access to HD camera equipment, and, most importantly, a passion for the performing arts.
Additional Requirements: Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply. All WGI staff and photographers must complete a free background check. More information will be provided upon event assignment.
