TIERED REGISTRATION
Please see below for the dates and times when Event Registration will begin for each division. As a reminder, per WGI Policy (6.1 Fees), all registration fees are non-refundable and once a group registers for an event, they are responsible for those fees.
When your registration window opens, log in to the Director’s Dashboard using your new login information to sign up for events!
Tier 1
Who Can Register?
Groups attending WGI World Championships. Entry into World Championships will be automatically included when you select your group’s qualifying event(s).

Note: Regional A class groups are not eligible to register for Power Regionals or World Championships. Junior groups are only eligible to register for Virtual events.

Season Pricing
A one-time processing fee of $100 will be assessed to each group per season as part of event registration.
In-Person Event Pricing
With an event registration, each group automatically receives participant wristbands for the number of marching members plus ten extras for directors, staff, chaperones, etc.

PLUS Pass Pricing:
PLUS Pass provides additional participant wristbands to groups beyond what is included in registration. For detailed information about participant wristbands and PLUS Pass CLICK HERE.
Regional and World Championships PLUS Passes are ONLY available to purchase at the time of registration.
- Regional PLUS Pass (5 extra) $100 per event
- Power Regional PLUS Pass (7 extra) $175 per event
- World Championships PLUS Pass (7 extra) $265
ACCESS TO REGISTRATION
Group's Primary and Financial contacts will have access to register for events via the Director's Dashboard.
- Scholastic groups must have their Band Director's name and email completed under "Details"
- Independent groups must have three Independent Management Contact names and email addresses listed under "Details"
- Groups with outstanding unpaid balances will be unable to register
Please call the WGI office to inquire if all three above are complete and you still do not have access to register. New event registrations may take up to ten minutes to process. If you’re missing registrations, please contact office@wgi.org
PAYMENT
There are several payment options:
- You may choose to pay with a credit card at the time of registration; your email confirmation will serve as your receipt.
- You also have the option of paying later by check, purchase order, or by paying with a link that will come in a second email. The email will serve as your invoice. The group then has 60 days from the date of registration or by the entry deadline date (whichever comes first) to pay the invoice, or the group will be removed from all events.
- By submitting the Event Registration entry, you understand it to be a legally binding contract where each group is financially responsible for all fees associated with these entries.
- If an event you have selected is within two weeks of its registration cutoff, you will be required to pay by credit card. (Bear in mind with last minute registrations that all requirement due dates are still valid CLICK HERE for more details)
POSTMARK INFO
- Regional prelims performance times are based on postmark date.
- The WGI office will merge all Tier 1 entry dates to ensure all groups have access to the best prelims performance times. Groups registering for Tier 1 will receive the same postmark date of day one of Tier 2 for that Division:
- Color Guard Tier 1 groups will receive the postmark date of October 3rd.
- Percussion and Winds Tier 1 groups will receive the postmark date of October 6th.
