Volunteering is a great opportunity to experience a unique perspective of the World’s largest indoor marching arts events, and the 2024 WGI Winds World Championships is seeking volunteers for the weekend of April 20-21. If individuals can get themselves to Dayton, Ohio on Friday, April 20, WGI will take care of everything else!
Take a look below at the amenities WGI will provide for all volunteers during the weekend’s events.
WGI Provides:
- Shared-occupancy hotel accommodations at the Dayton Marriott
- Meals during event times at arenas
- Credentials that allow you entrance to all venues
- Shuttle transportation from/to airport and hotel, and from hotel to each venue
- Discounts on WGI merchandise
- Free parking
- Some, but not all, positions give you a view of group performance or warm-up sites
- Special WGI event attire
- Opportunity to join the WGI Scholarship Committee
Requirements:
- Volunteers must be available Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.
- Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
