Southgate Band Programs

The Southgate Band Programs is searching for a Battery Percussion Coordinator for the Fall 2023 Marching Band season. Responsibilities include working with the Band Director and Assistant Band Director to establish a curriculum for the battery and attending all scheduled rehearsals and competitions May-November. Preference will be given to those with a visual background and WGI or DCI experience.
The Southgate Anderson Marching Band performs as a part of the SMB and MCBA circuits. Seasonal pay is highly competitive compared to other programs in the region, and will be commensurate with experience.
The Southgate Anderson Marching Band has been an MCBA State Championships Finalist since 2003. The new Battery Percussion Coordinator will join an experienced, cohesive, and nationally recognized educational staff.
Success in this position may also open the door for a similar position with Southgate Winter Percussion.
