Discovering WGI Winds: A Family Affair with the Morrells!
The way a person discovers the marching arts is something that they will always remember. In Trenton Morrell’s case, his parents, Stephanie and Trent, raised him to love music and the marching arts from a very young age. So much so that they even spent their most recent winter season competing together in a WGI Winds group based out of Westerville, Ohio.

WGI Mourns the Loss of Tom Hachmeister
Tom Hachmeister, A WGI contest administrator and long-time supporter of the marching arts, passed away peacefully on the morning of November 14th.

Everyone loves an entertaining thriller full of suspense, especially one that involves ghosts. In their 2024 show, “The Winchester Mystery,” athletes from American Fork High School in American Fork, Utah, performed an enrapturing show inspired by the tale of the Winchester Mystery House.

Each time Darcie Aungst walks past the incredible art gallery in her hometown of Bedford, Massachusetts, she’s drawn to its aesthetic. Finding Your Voice with Palm Desert Charter Middle School’s 2024 Program
Every color guard performer dreams of competing at one of the highest levels in the activity and showing off all the hard work they have put into perfecting their sport. For a group of middle schoolers out of Palm Desert, California, this dream became a reality in 2022, and it has been a reality ever since, as they took the stage in 2024 for another great year competing in the Scholastic Open Class division.

“Reflecting” on Zionsville High School’s 2024 Production
Under the direction of Michael Rennaker and Orion Avery, Zionsville took a fantastically detailed, entertaining, and beautifully performed show to Dayton. With a mirror turned to the audience as they leaped to their feet following an incredible finals performance, Zionsville closed the book on their 2024 season and their show, “Sonic Reflections.”
