Windsor High School Winds Show Announcement

Formed in October of 2018, Windsor High School Winds is entering its fourth season competing on the Winter Guard International (WGI) circuit. Their 2023 production is entitled, “Ghost Town,” modeled after campfire stories told about the abandoned frontier towns of the American West.
 
Each year, Windsor Winds releases a video to showcase the musical and visual elements for the upcoming season. The 2023 trailer highlights the main beats of this year’s story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4X_XHv8Aw8 
 
Musical selections for Windsor’s show include Jason K. Nitsch’s ethereal composition for wind ensemble, “Elegy for a Ghost Town,” and The Rolling Stones’ international hit, “Paint it, Black.”
 
Windsor High School Winds will compete at the WGI Winds Regional in Greenfield, Indiana, as well as events on the Central States Performance Association (CSPA) circuit, based in St. Louis, Missouri.
