Mohonasen High School Presents 2017 Program

February 1, 2017

From a Mohonasen High School Press Release

Mohonasen High School, hailing from Schenectady, New York, is proud to announce their 2017 production:  “The Rain is Gone”. Performing to ‘I Can See Clearly Now’ by the Holly Cole Trio, the 16 talented members will fly into your hearts in the Scholastic A division.

Mohonasen High School is under the direction of Mr. Daniel Philpott-Jones with assistance from Julian Williams, Preston Coppage, Billy Pacifico, and Robert Krupa. Costume design is by Rick Delancy of Kazara, and flag designs are by Swagge.

Relatively new to the WGI scene, Mohonasen was a competitor in the 2015 Northeast Regional, placed 3rd in the 2016 WGI Northeast Regional and was a semi-finalist at the 2016 WGI World Championships.  Locally, Mohonasen competes in the Mid-York Color Guard Circuit and holds a strong and longstanding tradition of excellence in a well-rounded music department.

Mohonasen will be competing at the WGI Salem Regional, the WGI East Power Regional and at the 2017 WGI World Championships.  We would like to thank our school district administration as well as our music parents and boosters for making these opportunities possible.
