Bio
Courtney Allison, a movement-oriented educator, began her love for the pageantry arts in Seminole, Florida where she performed in the prestigious Seminole High School Marching Band. Her experiences in high school brought forth many years of performing with two-time WGI gold medalist, The Company Color Guard and DCI finalist Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps. During her years of performing, Mrs. Allison began her teaching career; helping to develop lifelong skills of passion, determination, and perseverance within hundreds of young adults, nationally and internationally.
Mrs. Allison holds a Bachelors of Arts in Dance from Texas Woman’s University. While in attendance at TWU, she was named Outstanding Undergraduate Student of the Year and was voted by her peers to be the Undergraduate Adjudicating Representative.
Courtney is a movement judge for Winter Guard International and several circuits around the country. She continues to clinic band, color guard, and dance programs in various states. When Mrs. Allison isn’t consulting, clinicing, or judging, she enjoys spending time with her awesome husband and their rowdy bunch of bulldogs.
Courtney is the Director of Dance at James Bowie High School in Austin, Texas.
