Jon Merritt is a percussion teacher in the NEISD school district of San Antonio Texas. Â Jon is a graduate of Ohio University in Athens Ohio. Â He also marched with the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps in 1991, 1992, and 1993. Â Jon was the percussion section leader for the World Champion Cadets Drum Corps in 1993. Â He also enjoys performing with Several Brass Bands and Orchestras. Â After graduating from Ohio University with his Music Education Degree Jon has been a band director for 13 years in Columbus Ohio. Â He just recently moved to Texas, and is extremely excited to be Teaching and Performing with some of the finest educators in the country.
