Bret Cappelluti is currently the Director of Bands at Madera High School in Madera California. He holds a BA in Music Performance from San Jose State University as well as a Masters in Teaching from George Fox University. His band director resume includes, Turlock High School, Centennial High School (Gresham, Or.) and Wilsonville High School. Â As a percussion educator, he has worked with Oak Grove High School, Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets, Sunset High School, Argonauts Summer Band and Valley Fever drum and bugle corps. Â His performing background in music includes being a member of The Santa Clara Vanguard, The California Dons and the Valley Fever Drum and Bugle Corps. He has also served for many years as an adjudicator for Winter Guard International, Drum Corps International, Western Band Association, Northwest Association for Performing Arts, ADLA, MAPA, MAPS , TCGC, CWEA, IPA and the Southern California Percussion Alliance. Bret currently resides in his hometown of Madera with his two children Isabella and Christopher. |
