Kendall LeJeune is a graduate of Sam Houston State University where he received a Master’s of Music degree in Instrumental Conducting. He is also a graduate of the University of St. Thomas (Houston) and The University of Southern Mississippi, where he received degrees in Music Education and Public Relations.
Kendall recently completed his eleventh year as a Texas music educator and is an active adjudicator for indoor and outdoor performing ensembles across the United States. He currently holds positions as a General Effect judge for Winter Guard International (WGI), the Texas Color Guard Circuit (TCGC), the Winter Guard Association of Southern California (WGASC), and several regional and state circuits. He is also a sought-after clinician ranging from program design and program administration to movement, percussion, winds, and leadership instruction.
A native of Lafayette, LA, Kendall is an alum of Acadiana High School where he served as the Principal Drum Major for three years. He went on to be a Conductor for the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps (Rockford, IL) from 2005-2006 and was a Drum Major at The University of Southern Mississippi. An active clinician for student leadership and Drum Major instruction, Kendall has led numerous Student Leadership programs across the country.
During his time at The University of Southern Mississippi, Kendall worked for the Southern Mississippi Symphony Orchestra in Public Relations and served as a Corporate Sponsorship Coordinator. Performing as a percussionist in the orchestra, Kendall has shared the stage with performers such as Patti LaBelle, Dionne Warwick, Patti Austin, The Pointer Sisters, Sandi Patty, Joshua Bell and Sir James Galway.
