Bio Lee Carpenter started his participation in the world of pageantry as a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps. During his tenure with the group, they earned 3 World Championship titles. Lee has been teaching band for 33 years, the last 25 years in the Dublin Unified School District in California. While at Dublin High, his groups won many regional, states, national and international championships, including; ·         Best International Band and Best Overall Band at “The Limerick International Marching Competition” in Limerick, Ireland ·         Grand Sweepstakes at the “Hyack Festival Parade” in Vancouver, Canada, ·         Grand Sweepstakes at the “Aloha Holiday Parade” in Honolulu, Hawaii. ·         His color guards have won 15 California Color Guard Circuit Championships and have been Winter Guard International World Championship finalists 3 times. He has also instructed The Santa Clara Vanguard, Conquistadors Drum and Bugle Corps and the Redwood City Guardsmen Drum and Bugle Corps. He is an adjudicator for the Western Band Association, California Color Guard Circuit, San Joaquin Color Guard and Percussion Review, Central Valley Guard and Percussion Circuit, Northern California Band Association and Winter Guard International.
