WGI is looking for qualified candidates to apply for the WGI Event Staff Training Program. Work directly with current Contest Administrators, Site Managers, Tabulators, and Announcers to learn the ins and outs of a WGI event. Join an incredible team of individuals passionate about the indoor marching arts and help create a one-of-a-kind experience for the next generation of young performers!

How to Prepare
Candidates should have 1-3 years of relevant experience at the local circuit level and/or WGI World Championships/Regional volunteer experience. If selected, paid training would begin during the 2024 competitive season, and all members must be available to work and travel to events as assigned.
Experience with computer technology is strongly encouraged for all applicants, and applicants must pass a background check before they can begin training.
What To Expect
Following a thorough screening process, all interested applicants will be notified by WGI if they have been selected for the training program. Selected applicants will shadow their role at various regionals throughout the season and be compensated for their time spent training. Post season, all members of the program will be reviewed by the WGI staff and administration for potential employment in future seasons.
