This event has been specifically designed to help instructors with all aspects of designing and managing a successful winter guard program. Sessions on basic to intermediate equipment and movement techniques, roundtable discussions, and dialogue on WGI classification and adjudication topics make this event a must for all color guard instructors.
Frequently Asked Questions Q. I am not currently teaching a color guard program. Can I still attend this event?
YES!! This event is open to all who are interested in obtaining the skills to encourage and motivate the future of the winter guard activity.
Q. Where should I stay?
The Hilton in the Walt Disney Resort is the headquarters hotel for this event. All sessions will take place there. A special Spinfest!! room rate of $89 plus tax per night is being offered to all attendees. CLICK HERE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS
Q. How much does it cost?
The clinic fee is $139.00. This includes admission to all sessions and lunch on Saturday.
Q. Will equipment for the hands-on sessions be provided?
Unfortunately WGI will not be able to provide equipment for the hands-on portions of Spinfest!! If you are planning to participate in any of the Hands on sessions (flag, rifle, or saber) you will need to bring you own equipment.
Q. What should I wear?
If you are planning on participating in the hands-on equipment and/or movement portions of the weekend you will want appropriate attire that will enable you to move more comfortably.
