UK Dealers and Distributor Celebrate Quota-Busting Year with Visit to Canada
MEDUCTIC, Canada (July 27, 2007) – SABIAN Ltd., the award-winning cymbal manufacturer, recently played host to the United Kingdom's top SABIAN dealers. Accompanied by key management personnel from Arbiter, the London-based distributor for SABIAN, the visiting group consisted of dealers who met or exceeded their SABIAN purchasing quotas.
Highlights of the visit included a tour of the cymbal production process, which saw several visitors attempting to hand hammer a cymbal. The group also spent time in the legendary Vault, where SABIAN cymbals are aged, tested and selected. All visitors were then invited to select cymbals for their personal use. A few guests worked with the SABIAN Vault Team to create customized cymbals that fit their unique personal sound. After the tour, SABIAN Senior Vice President Jackie Houlden and Senior Marketing Manager Wayne Blanchard gave in-depth company and product presentations, while Director of Sales Peter Stairs mediated a roundtable Q&A session with visitors and SABIAN executives and artisans discussing a wide range of topics.
