Pro-Mark Introduces New "ProGrip"™ Sticks
Pro-Mark Corporation, the world’s largest manufacturer dedicated exclusively to the design, production, and distribution of drumsticks, mallets, and percussion accessories is pleased to introduce an entire new line of hickory drumsticks.
Dubbed ProGrip™, these sticks feature a special pre-applied gripping material on the handle of the sticks.
According to Pat Brown, the company’s director of sales and marketing, "This newly developed gripping material is very thin and does not affect the overall diameter of the sticks, yet provides enough difference in texture to aid the drummer in gripping the sticks. In addition, it won’t rub or peel off the stick."
He continued, "This is another example of listening to what our customers are asking for. Each and every suggestion for new products is carefully evaluated, and a pre-applied grip has been the number one request for a very long time. It took a while, but we found a material that is truly unique, comfortable, effective, and long lasting."
The ProGrip line is available in 2B, 5A, 5B, and 747 models with both wood and nylon tips. Suggested retail price is $17.50 per pair for wood tip, and $17.95 per pair for nylon tip.
