• 1     Music Licensing info due for all units competing in the World Championships and Power Regional Events
• 15     Regional entry fees increase by $50

January

• 15     World Championships entry fees increase by $100

February

• 1     Memberships no longer accepted
• 26    World Championships entry deadline

March

• March 1 - Percussion only - Copies of approved "Permission to Arrange" licenses (between your unit and the publisher) to be on file with WGI office for any non-original composition used in your show.
• 15     World Championships withdraw penalty begins (If your unit chooses to withdraw from the World Championships after this date, they will be penalized $500.)

Other Important items:

• 5 weeks prior to all regionals WGI no longer accepts entries and the show closes if it has not already done so
• 5 weeks prior to all regionals WGI no longer allows "wait listed" units into the regional
• After a regional has passed the 5 weeks prior deadline, there is a $200 regional withdraw penalty assessed for withdrawing a unit from the regional
