Welcome to WGI Sport of the Arts. For those of you who are new to WGI, this is your guide to everything you need to know about the 2009 indoor percussion and winter guard season.
What is WGI?
Winter Guard International (WGI) is known as the “Sport of the Arts.” It brings music to life through performance in a competitive format. WGI is the nonprofit youth organization leading the winter guard and indoor percussion activities. Now entering its 32nd year, the sport is evolving and growing, with over 11,000 participants at the Sport of the Arts World Championships this past April.
